Lead Advisor/Arranger

NextLevelCorporate's goal is to consistently deliver innovative tailored solutions and successful corporate finance outcomes to clients, over the long-term.

We have found that in addition to expecting a high level of service, our clients mostly want to deal with a stable, consistent and dedicated advisor with detailed knowledge of their business, and deserving of their long-term trust and investment.

For those and other reasons, NextLevelCorporate's clients receive tailored advice, deal arranging and transaction management services from Mike Ganon, on every assignment.

Over time, this has resulted in Mike's integration into a number of client leadership teams, where he engages as an outsourced client team leader for their specialist corporate finance requirements, as and when required.

Mike Ganon, Managing Director, NextLevelCorporate

MBA (UWA), F.Fin, G.Dip (Applied Finance & Investment), B.Bus (Fin/Acc)

Mike left Macquarie Bank’s Investment Banking Group at the end of 2001 to establish NextLevelCorporate.

Prior to working with Macquarie (and its predecessor, regional investment bank Porter Western Corporate) in corporate advisory (M&A) and equity capital markets (equity underwriting), Mike spent the first half of the ‘90s in structured finance, with the largest independent arranger of structured debt in Western Australia.

Over the past 25 years, Mike has amassed detailed expertise and track record in structuring, arranging and managing equity, underwriting, M&A, corporate reinvention and structured debt assignments in Australia, Asia, the UK and Europe through his involvement in numerous transactions with a ‘share of transaction’ value in excess of A$7 billion. Of that amount, some A$2 billion is attributable to NextLevelCorporate M&A, Capital Raising and Structured Debt assignments.

He has lectured in the Advanced Corporate Finance Stream at FINSIA (formerly the Securities Institute of Australia), and as part of a State Government delegation to Bio's 2007 Pacific Rim conference (Industrial Biotechnology and Bioenergy) held in Hawaii, presented a paper on Bioenergy investment in Australia.

Mike is a recipient of the Bronze, Silver and Gold Duke of Edinburgh's International Awards, having received his Gold Award from HRH Philip Duke of Edinburgh. The Award is the world's leading achievement award for young people aged 14 to 25, bringing together practical experiences and life skills to create resilient and committed global citizens and equipping young people for life. In a voluntary capacity, Mike serves on the Board of the WA Division of The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award - Australia and heads up the Growth & Sustainability Committee.
