Michael Ganon established NextLevelCorporate in 2002 to service the unmet demand for independent, ‘personal service’, and tailored corporate finance advice, capital raising and transaction project management services.
In terms of wholesale client numbers, global relationships and capital markets accessed, NextLevelCorporate has grown rapidly, however, one thing has remained intentionally constant – all clients personally receive market-based corporate finance advisory and capital raising services from our Managing Director, on every assignment.

Michael left Macquarie Bank’s Investment Banking Group at the end of 2001 to establish NextLevelCorporate. Prior to working with Macquarie (and its predecessor, regional investment bank Porter Western Corporate) in corporate advisory and equity capital markets, Michael spent the first half of the ‘90s in structured finance, with the largest independent arranger of structured debt in Western Australia.
Over the past 20 years, Michael has amassed extensive experience and expertise in structuring, arranging and managing equity, M&A and structured debt assignments in Australia, Asia, the UK and Europe through his involvement in numerous transactions with a ‘share of transaction’ value in excess of A$5 billion. Of that amount, some A$1.5 billion is attributable to NextLevelCorporate assignments.
Michael has lectured in the Advanced Corporate Finance Stream at FINSIA (formerly the Securities Institute of Australia) and, as part of a State Government delegation to Bio's 2007 Pacific Rim conference on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioenergy held in Hawaii, presented a paper on Bioenergy investment in Australia. He is a past Director and co-founder of D1 Australia Limited.
